I am interested in shooting with you. What is your process?
Once I receive your enquiry via my booking form or email, then we can arrange a call so I can learn about your style, offerings, and your reason for wanting to shoot. Then from there, we will plan the shoot dates, content, location etc.
Following our shoot, your successful stills and/or film will be edited and shared with you via a private online viewing gallery where you can download them. I will keep the files for 6 months.
Where can we shoot?
It is your choice! My shoot fees are for an outdoor shoot within London zones 1-3, however I work with studios and spaces who offer hourly rates to suit all budgets. If booking an outdoor shoot, I am always flexible if the weather is not looking good, so will happily rearrange to make sure we get the most out of our shoot together.
How should I prepare?
I always say it is best to think about what you want to gain from our shooting together.
Are you just wanting some fresh content for your socials, or are you looking to rebrand your whole website? I have worked with those who have just started out on their journey to those who are well established and are just looking for a refresh.
Do you have specific postures / movements / look and feel in mind for our shoot? It is helpful to think about this and share with me to help guide the shoot. But saying that, if you have no idea at all that is completely fine too! After reviewing your initial enquiry I will get a good understanding of your style, needs and will plan out the shoot accordingly.
What should I wear?
I always tell clients to wear what feels represents them and their offerings. Always bring an outfit change or two, and stay away from harsh patterns (e.g stripes / checkered). Always feel free to share options with me for us to chat though if you are unsure.
I have never done this before and feel nervous! Is this normal?
I am told this by 80% of clients and it is totally normal to feel nervous! I understand this feeling completely. It is important to me that the shoot is relaxed and easy going to ensure you feel comfortable and you get the best outcome from the shoot.
I have been shooting in the yoga and wellness space for over 5 years now and am used to working with clients who have never done a professional shoot, to those who are very used to being in front of camera.
I am looking for someone to shoot my retreat, meditation class etc. How do you shoot in quiet spaces?
Being a wellbeing instructor myself, I am very aware of my need to be discreet and respectful within a quiet space as I shoot.
I have shot many sound healing workshops, meditations, retreats, women’s gatherings etc. and have a quiet shutter on my camera which allows me to softly and discreetly move around a space without disrupting those in it.
Where do you travel for shoots?
My shoot pricing includes travel with London zones 1-3, for bookings outside those London zones or overseas, we can discuss travel options and additional costs.
When can we book a shoot?
I am flexible with dates and timings for shoots, and am available to shoot weekdays and weekends.
I’m not sure what length of shoot to go for. What do you suggest?
Generally, a minimum of a two hour shoot works well as it gives time for various set-ups, outfit changes, and potential for two locations, so allowing us to get the most variation from our shooting time together. If you are looking for some images just to help keep your socials going, then perhaps a 1 hour shoot will suit.
I am also interested in a video shoot. Is this something you do?
Yes I do! You have the option to add on a video edit to a photoshoot, or just book a videography shoot on its own.
I have a two camera set up, so can easily switch between stills and video cameras as we flow thorough our shoot. You can find more information about video shoots at the bottom of my bookings page here.
What usage rights do I have with the imagery / videos we shoot together?
You are able to use the imagery / videos for your personal use and promotion (e.g.socials, websites, flyers etc.)
For commercial publications (e.g. printing for a 3rd party) you will need to ask for permission and this may be an additional cost.
